FAQ

  • Common questions regarding funds to the UK:
    • 1.  When can I start counting my 28 days?
  • Do you know that without your 28 days in the account statement it is impossible to get your CAS in over 95% of Universities in the UK? So how can you calculate your funds needed? Balance of fees (after deposit) + Living expenses = In Naira  / USD/ GBP
    • 2. How long should the funds be in the account?
  • We advise students to ensure even after the CAS has been issued they should ensure that the funds are in the account until the visa has been applied for and issued!
    • 3.  Can this fund be in any account?
  • The funds must be in the applicant’s account or father or mother’s account  (Personal accounts in their names) not company name.
    • 4.  Can my uncle or aunt or sibling not fund my account?
  • Your Uncle , Aunt or Sibling can sponsor you but they must send the funds into your personal account or either of your parent’s account. Except the account is a joint account with your name on it as well as the sponsor.
    • 5.  Will I need to show funds in my account upon arrival in the UK?
  • The UK Immigration staff reserves the right to randomly ask   students to show fund evidence upon arrival in the UK, advised that you print your account before funds are used for further purposes.
  • Please note:  Ensure the funds are actually put into your account and the account officer is not just giving you a print out statement of an account that never existed when showing proof of funds. We have seen cases of visa bans happen to such students, and we do not advise students to do this as we will not be in cohort with such. Please be warned. UK BAN IS 10 YEARS
